The TeachAIDS materials have been formally approved by the Deputy Permanent Secretary and the Curriculum, Development, and Evaluation sector at the Ministry of Education in Botswana and will be implemented into every primary, secondary, and tertiary school throughout Botswana.

“With its interactive, fun, and fresh approach, TeachAIDS will assist Botswana youth in overcoming the ‘HIV learning fatigue’ and instill a deeper level of interest in HIV prevention.” – Lila Pavey, the HIV Specialist for Botswana’s Ministry of Education of the collaboration.

Partnered with Botswana’s Ministry of Education, TeachAIDS will localize the HIV/AIDS prevention materials to respond appropriately to the unique challenges and cultural needs of the country. Special language versions in English and Setswana will feature the voices of celebrities in Botswana.
