Navdeep Pallapollu, the Telugu and Tamil film industry’s “heartthrob”, has kindly donated his voice to the Telugu TeachAIDS animations at the renowned Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad. Using his youthful charm, Navdeep plays the student character opposite the legendary Nagarjuna, to help educate millions about HIV prevention.

In a career spanning only six years, Navdeep has appeared in over 15 films, which have particularly highlighted his remarkable versatility. Pallapollu made his film debut in the 2004 Telugu romantic film, Jaij, a hit in India. Following this, he starred in a national blockbuster, Arinthum Arvamalum, along side award-winning actor Prakash Raj, and music director, Yuvan Shankar Raja, which ran in theatres for 175 days and was then dubbed into Telugu. Navdeep’s latest film, Om Shanti (2010), has made audiences admire him for his spontaneity and fluidity in his acting.

TeachAIDS is delighted to welcome the talented and dynamic Navdeep to our team of cultural icons.
