We prioritize persistent, complex problems that transcend communities, involve stigma, and affect youth directly. We then conduct extensive research analyzing at-risk populations, social trends, relevant practitioners, and community stakeholders to determine if we can deliver an effective educational intervention.

Our multidisciplinary, contextually-grounded design process builds a coalition of stakeholders including government officials and nonprofits as well as affected communities and individuals. Together, we map the competing political, social, and cultural incentives and barriers that must be incorporated into the solution.
Innovate solutions
We identify solutions that will resonate and thrive in complex and diverse communities.
Through close collaboration with communities, we use a rigorous research-based design process to build effective solutions together. Prioritizing respect and dignity of all people involved, we identify trusted voices to ensure that the educational product preserves authenticity and engages learners.

We secure strategic partnerships with prominent national and community partners.
Designing the most effective, medically accurate, culturally-specific health education curricula is just the beginning. To be successful, the curriculum must be embraced, adopted, and promoted by national and community partners (e.g., governments, organizations, corporations, individuals). This requires extensive research into the incentives, motivations, and limitations of each entity to ensure that they are intrinsically motivated to move the initiative forward on their own.
Distribute products
Our mission is to provide access to our lifesaving health education to as many people as possible.
To do that, we distribute our products under the Creative Commons License, which provides free access and flexibility to adapt our products to the users’ specific needs. This empowers our partners to use, expand, and share our curriculum with people all over the world.
