Founder and CEO, TeachAids
Dr. Piya Sorcar is the founder and CEO of TeachAids, an Adjunct Professor of Pediatrics at Stanford’s School of Medicine and a Faculty Fellow at the Stanford Center for Innovation in Global Health. Leading a team of world experts in medicine, public health, technology and education she has established TeachAids’ research-based award-winning education programs in 82 countries, impacting more than 500M people globally. In 2011, MIT Technology Review named her to its TR35 list of the top 35 innovators in the world under 35. She received her Ph.D. from Stanford University, and in 2016, she was a recipient of Stanford’s Graduate School of Education’s Alumni Excellence in Education Award.

Former President of Botswana Launches TeachAids Nationwide
In a landmark partnership with the Ministry of Education and UNICEF, TeachAids introduced bilingual, animated HIV prevention software to all public schools across Botswana. This initiative became a vital part of the national curriculum, leading to the designation of June 15th as "National TeachAids Day" to honor the program’s success.
