Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott Joins CrashCourse Advisory Team

A champion of promoting positive social change through sports, Pac-12 Commissioner Larry Scott is a veritable powerhouse in the world of athletics. Larry has been credited, among numerous other achievements, with reinvigorating and expanding the Pac-12 Conference. What is more, before joining the Pac-12, Larry was the CEO of the Women’s Tennis Association. There, he pushed for positive change as he always does, advocating for equal compensation for women tennis players. A household name, Larry Scott is a trailblazer in the world of athletics, particularly where it intersects with youth advocacy.
Larry’s illustrious career has also included the position of COO of the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) as well as roles on boards such as the Women’s Sports Foundation, the Rose Bowl Management Committee, the College Football Playoff Management Committee, and several others. Even at the beginning of his career, Larry displayed a tendency toward excellence as a student-athlete at Harvard University and a professional tennis player after that. It is his spirit of constant achievement and giving to others in various stages of their athletic careers that make Larry a key asset to work with and to learn from.
