Mahesh Bhatt, leading Indian cultural icon, joins the TeachAids Advisory Board
TeachAids is pleased to announce that prominent Indian director, producer, and screenwriter, Mahesh Bhatt, has joined the TeachAids Advisory Board. Among other noteworthy efforts, Bhatt will be advising on strategic outreach efforts in order to draw-in rural and urban populations for the TeachAids animated works.
Bhatt is one of those rare talents who has been able to connect with the hearts of millions across the globe through his artistic works. Whether through his parallel films that have brought to light numerous sensitive issues, his Bollywood commercial blockbusters, including Arth, Saaransh, Aashiqui, Dil Hai Ki Manta Nahin, and Zakhm, or his written works like A Taste of Life and UG Krishnamuthi: A Life, Bhatt has touched the lives of people across numerous generations. Artists in Bhatt’s acclaimed productions have received numerous prestigious recognitions including awards at the National Film and Filmfare ceremonies. Bhatt is the recipient of numerous national and international film festival awards and is the co-owner of the Vishesh Films production house.
Over the past several decades, Bhatt has shown tremendous commitment to confronting challenging issues around human health and social justice. TeachAids is pleased to bring Mahesh Bhatt onto our Advisory Board.
