TeachAids and Faculty and Students from Leading Universities Launch CoviDB.org, a Platform for Global Coronavirus Resources
Dear friends,
We wish you and your family good health in these difficult times.
Over the last week, we’ve brainstormed on the best way to harness our global health community and support those suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic.
For over 10 years, we’ve believed that one of the best ways to address a health crisis is to arm people with accurate information as quickly and widely as possible. Last week, a small group of students at Stanford University, dispersed around the country, came to TeachAids with the question, “What if we could make it easier to find the best, most up-to-date resources on the coronavirus?”
We looked to our mission – to provide access to lifesaving health educational materials to as many people as possible – and the students took off running, growing the team to dozens of people around the world. We also brought it additional faculty, students, and alumni from Stanford, MIT, Harvard, and more. Together we worked night and day to build a useful tool as quickly as possible for this urgent issue.
We are excited to announce the launch of CoviDB.org, an education platform built to give everyone high-quality, community-vetted resources on the coronavirus. From education and medicine to diagnostic tools, we’ve organized the site to make it easy for you to get the information you need right away.
Our sources are reviewed by leading researchers and educators from around the world, giving you peace of mind that the site you’re reading is trusted by us.
We hope that CoviDB.org can play a role in easing the burden of keeping you and your family safe, so please visit, explore, and share with your friends. COVID-19 is the most single pressing issue in the entire world right now, and any feedback you can share to help improve the site will make a difference to our users. So feel free to send us all your great ideas and suggestions!
Signed,
Your TeachAids Team
