Dr. Rajiv Doshi Joins CoviDB Initiative
Dr. Rajiv Doshi, who has worked as an HIV/AIDS advisor for TeachAids for many years, will be continuing his guidance as he joins the CoviDB initiative. Dr. Doshi is an Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Stanford University and the Director of the India Program at the Byers Center for Biodesign. The goal of the India Biodesign Program is to train the next generation of medical technology innovators in India. He also co-directs the India-based Founders Forum and Innovators Garage, which provide executive education to India-based medical technology startups.
Dr. Doshi holds a BS in Chemical Engineering, an MS in Biomechanical Engineering, and an MD, all from Stanford University where he was a Soros Fellow. After completing his education, he served as a Sr. Advisor to McKinsey & Co. and as Principal at De Novo Ventures, a medical technology venture capital fund. He also previously served as an Adjunct Professor of Business and a Lecturer of Mechanical Engineering at Stanford University. Dr. Doshi is the Founder and CEO of Piper Biosciences, a startup developing nutritional products to help manage chronic medical conditions. In 2012, Dr. Doshi was named as one of the top 18 Indian scientists who are changing the world by Forbes India.
As an HIV/AIDS advisor, Dr. Doshi has contributed his diverse experience and insight into medical education to our goal of redesigning HIV and AIDS education across the world.
