TeachAids Partners with SportsEdTV to Reach the Masses
Today, in recognition of Concussion Awareness Day, we announce a special partnership with SportsEdTV, a free online world leader in sports instruction and training which reaches the masses.
According to the CDC, there are up to 3.8 million sports and recreation related brain injuries in the United States yearly. While most concussions have the potential to heal in a few weeks, an overwhelming majority of students, parents, and coaches are unaware of the latest science about prevention and treatment of concussions. SportsEdTV will utilize CrashCourse concussion education materials to complement their high-quality multi-sports instruction videos.
SportsEdTV CEO Victor Bergonzoli described the effort as “as a natural alliance which maximizes the efforts of both parties to promote sports by working to make them safer for all participants through a better understanding and dissemination of head injuries in the world of youth sports.”
“We are excited to expand our reach of CrashCourse concussion education products for athletes, coaches and parents through the incredible worldwide reach of SpotsEdTV” said Dr. Piya Sorcar, founder and CEO of TeachAids. “We look forward to working with the SportsEdTV leadership to add continued diversity and quality to their platform.”
The CrashCourse curriculum will be instituted via SportsEdTV’s website starting today.
