Nagarjuna Akkineni, acclaimed film actor and entrepreneur, joins TeachAids
Nagarjuna Akkineni plays the role of the erudite male doctor character in the Telugu version of the TeachAids animations. Starring in over 75 films, Nagarjuna is arguably the biggest hero figure of the Telugu film industry, home to over 75 million people. He has generously gifted his voice for the development of the TeachAids animated works to reach out to the Telugu-speaking community across the globe. He kindly donated access and technical support at his famous Annapurna Studios, in Hyderabad, for the recording of numerous TeachAids sessions. As our newest Advisory Board member, the Indian A-list celebrity will be advising on several marketing, outreach and distribution strategies.
A two-time National Film Award winner and a two-time Filmfare Best Telugu Actor Award recipient, India’s equivalent of the Oscars, Nagarjuna is one of the most prominent names in the Telugu film industry. He has also won multiple Nandi Awards and National Film Awards and has starred and produced numerous films, which have won the hearts of millions across the world. His immense business expertise, dedication to issues of social justice, and widespread popularity make him an inspirational spokesperson for the TeachAids outreach efforts.
