Coloradan runs half-marathon to raise funds for TeachAids
With his shoelaces laced with red ribbons in honor of HIV/AIDS, Blake Haworth ran the Colorado Marathon in Fort Collins to raise funds for the TeachAids development efforts. As a Boston qualifier, the Colorado Marathon is known as the fastest and most scenic marathon in Colorado. The half marathon followed the beautiful Poudre River and ended in Old Town Fort Collins.
Blake has run five other races to raise money, primarily for cancer research. However this year, on May 9th (Mother’s Day), he chose to run for TeachAids in honor of his mother. He is currently training for the Denver half-marathon which will take place in October 2010.
TeachAids is thankful to Blake for his tireless efforts and to the entire Haworth family for their unwavering support.
