Sports Medicine Expert Scott Anderson Joins CrashCourse Advisory Committee
Scott Anderson, Chief Clinical Officer at SyncThink, has joined TeachAids as an advisor for CrashCourse, its newest health initiative. CrashCourse educates youth about the complexities around sports-related head injuries.
Before joining SyncThink in 2017, Scott spent 10 years at Stanford as the Director of Athletic Training/Sports Medicine. He helped create and grow the Stanford program into one of the top-ranked and most influential sports medicine organizations in the United States. Scott worked closely with SyncThink Founder Jamshid Ghajar, also a CrashCourse Advisor, in the multidisciplinary research of sport-related head injuries and in the development of novel technological solutions for improving patient outcomes.
As the former Chair of the Pac-12 Sports Medicine Committee, Scott influenced conference-wide research to improve student-athlete health and wellness. As a longtime supporter of player health and safety, he has become an international thought-leader on head injury management.
Scott is a Certified Athletic Trainer and maintains specialty certifications in Functional Movement Screen (FMS), Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS). He serves as an advisor to multiple organizations, including Blueprint, Move2Thrive and the National Football League (NFL).
