Award-Winning Professor and Researcher Joins TeachAids as an Advisor
TeachAids is pleased to announce that we are welcoming Dr. Terrence Blaschke onto our team of Advisors. His extensive work in medical science and research, with a focus on HIV treatment, will prove immensely helpful in our HIV/AIDS prevention efforts.
Dr. Blaschke is a Senior Program Officer in Clinical Pharmacology at the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and Professor Emeritus of Medicine and Molecular Pharmacology at the Stanford University School of Medicine. He collaborates with the AMPATH program in Eldoret, Kenya, an initiative designed to build the public sector’s HIV prevention and treatment capacity in both urban and rural environments. He also serves on the Organizing Committee for a workshop on Clinical Pharmacology in HIV therapy.
His research examines the pharmacology of drug therapies used to treat HIV-infected patients. His research focuses on assessing the quality of antiretroviral drugs and their accessibility to patients. For his research and contributions to medicine, he has received numerous awards.
Dr. Blaschke received his M.D. from Columbia University. Prior to attending medical school, he had graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Mathematics, in the Honors Program, from the University of Denver.
