TeachAids selected as beneficiary of the 21st Annual Walk For AIDS Silicon Valley
TeachAids has been selected by the Silicon Valley AIDS Leadership Center as one of the eight organizations benefiting from the Walk For AIDS Silicon Valley fundraising effort.
In the Bay Area, the TeachAids materials have been made available for free to a number of school districts including Palo Alto Unified, East Side Union High School District, San Jose Unified, San Francisco Unified, Oakland Unified, Salinas Union High School District, Cupertino Elementary School District, Fremont Union High School District, among others.
The Silicon Valley AIDS Leadership Center is dedicated to leading the fight to halt the spread of HIV/AIDS and enhance the lives of affected persons. This year, the Walk For AIDS Silicon Valley marks the 21st of the center’s signature event and the largest fundraiser for the HIV/AIDS cause in the South Bay. Through this effort the center has granted over six million dollars through their Community Grants Program.
