Educational Technology Expert Joins TeachAids as an Advisor
We are pleased to announce the introduction of Professor Decker Walker onto our team of Advisors at TeachAids. Professor Walker’s extensive experience and research in education and educational technologies will be of great value to TeachAids as we utilize learning technologies to promote health around the world.
Professor Walker is a Professor Emeritus at the Stanford University School of Education. His work focuses on technology-based education programs and practices that examine the ways in which technology can improve material and program design for authentic and adventurous teaching. He has co-authored several books, written numerous articles, and been a contributing author in various texts. His book Fundamentals of Curriculum provides an in-depth analysis of curriculum theory, research, and practice in the American educational system.
Professor Walker’s extensive experience and scholarship at the intersection of education and technology will prove to be a valuable asset to our efforts to build comprehensive and impactful educational technologies. Professor Walker shares the innovative spirit of TeachAids and will help continue to break ground in delivering education for lasting impact in global health.
He received his B.S. in Physics and M.A. in Natural Science from Carnegie Mellon University and completed his Ph.D. in Education at Stanford University.
