University of Guelph Director of Athletics Scott McRoberts Joins CrashCourse Advisory Board
We are excited to welcome Director of Athletics at the University of Guelph, Scott McRoberts, to the TeachAids team. With over 15 years of experience in sports administration, he provides great expertise in developing educational materials for youth athletes across the world.
McRoberts oversees 30 men’s and women’s varsity teams, and has spearheaded a number of initiatives to support the well-being and personal growth of student athletes. During his first year at the University of Guelph, he announced the Guelph Gryphons Leadership Academy to provide student athletes with the tools to become leaders within their teams and beyond. Prior to the University of Guelph, McRoberts led the Athletics and Recreation department at University of Toronto, where he developed a comprehensive and award-winning mental health and physical activity program.
McRoberts also serves as the Associate Director of the International Institute for Sport Business and Leadership at the University of Guelph School of Business and Economics. In this role, he supports important sports business research, and provides training for the next generation of leaders in the field.
