Stanford Women’s Gymnastics Head Coach joins TeachAids Advisory Committee
A formal Cardinal student-athlete from 2005-2008 and assistant coach from 2010-2015, Tabitha Yim is no stranger to Stanford. She spent two years away from Stanford to coach the University of Arizona program and now is back at The Farm, leading our women’s team to championships on and off the mat.
As an Assistant Coach at Stanford, Yim coached gymnasts in all four events and specialized in beam and floor as an elite choreographer. With the help of Yim’s coaching expertise, Stanford received its two highest team scores in program history at an NCAA Championship competition at the 2012 Super Six and the 2015 Super Six.
Yim was a collegiate standout as a student-athlete, earning fourteen All-American honors, the most in history. She placed among the top 10 in the NCAA all-around competition throughout her collegiate career and won two Pac-10 and NCAA regional all-around titles. Yim was named Pac-10 and Regional Gymnast of the Year during her senior season.
TeachAids is proud to have Coach Tabitha Yim as a part of our CrashCourse Advisory team. We are confident that our shared goals of promoting research-based education efforts will be a driving force in preventing concussions for future athletes.
