Olympic Coach Thom Glielmi joins CrashCourse Advisory Team

Head Coach Thom Glielmi has lead Stanford men’s gymnastics to two NCAA Championships and 13 consecutive top-five finishes at the NCAA Championships. Coach Glielmi joins TeachAids as an Advisor for the CrashCourse concussion education initiative.
Coach Glielmi is a three-time NCAA West Region Head Coach of the Year and was named National Coach of the Year in 2009. He has coached 19 NCAA Champions, 131 All-Americans, and three Nissen-Emery Award recipients–college gymnastics’ highest honor. In fact, Glielmi has produced NCAA national champions in every event.
In 2016, the College Gymnastics Association recognized Coach Glielmi for his service in coaching and developing gymnastics for over 25 years with their CGA Honor Coach Award. Glielmi has coached the USA Senior National Team for 15 years and served as a member of Team USA’s Coaching Staff at the 2000 and 2016 Olympic Games.
Prior to joining the Cardinal, Thom Glielmi spent three seasons as an assistant coach at the University of Minnesota, where he was named the 2000-2001 NCAA Assistant Coach of the Year.
